Real Estate Agent - FAQs

Will you have more templates?

Yes, we are planning to add new templates periodically. Every user will automatically receive future templates. They will be available to you immediately after the release. If you decide to use the new templates, you can either use them with generic graphics or order new personalized images.

How many colors are available for each template?

User-selectable color schemes can be applied to each template. There are 9 color schemes and each color scheme consists of 2 shades. Therefore, theoretically, there are 81 color combinations. However, not all combinations look good. User has total control over color selection, so be brave and experiment!

How many properties can I post?

You can list up to 50 properties. You can upload up to 6 photos per property.

Can I upload photos from my digital camera?

Yes. Make sure your digital camera is set to JPEG mode (file extension .jpg). Although most modern digital cameras have mega pixel capability, shoot with resolution set to 640x480, which is plenty sufficient for Web use. Refer to your digital camera's manual for settings and file transfer instructions. The software (Beetown My Listings) will automatically scale your uploaded photos down to 320 pixels wide and create thumbnails.

How soon will my account be ready?

Your free trial account should be ready almost immediately. An email should have been automatically sent to you with login and setup instructions. If you are asking about your paid account, after you placed the order, it may take up to 7 days for your domain name to be active. If you are transferring your domain name from another service, the process may take slightly longer.

Is my payment refundable?

We encourage you to sign up for a free trial account and try it thoroughly before placing an order. If refund becomes necessary, see the Pricing page for refund policy.

What is a cookie and why does your service require it?

A cookie is a small text file stored on your hard drive by a web server. It cannot be executed as code or deliver viruses. It allows you to leave and enter the site manager without having to log in everytime. Once you closed the browser, the cookie expires. See below for instructions on how to enable it.

How do I enable the cookie function on my browser?

The following are instructions for Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape. If you use other browsers, check the Help section of your browser program.

IE 4.0: Choose View, then Internet Options. Click the Advanced tab, scroll down to the yellow exclamation icon under Security and choose one of the three options to regulate your use of cookies.

IE 3.0: Choose View, Options, Advanced and click on the button that says Warn Before Accepting "Cookies."
